Reading the Bible
Reading Scripture is the point of the app, so everything is arranged to keep the Bible text front and centre. This page covers the reading area, moving between passages, switching translations, reading several passages at once, and the three display modes.
Study Tools
Beside the Bible text sits a second panel holding everything that helps you dig into what you are reading. It updates as you move through Scripture, so the material for the verse in front of you is simply there.
Searching
The search bar is one of the most powerful parts of the app. It finds words, finds meanings, jumps to references, and looks up original-language words — all from the same box. This page takes each in turn.
Copying & Sharing Verses
Sooner or later you will want to pull a verse out of the app and put it somewhere else — a sermon outline, a message to a friend, a journal entry. The app makes that quick, and lets you decide exactly how the text should look when it lands.
Personalizing Your Experience
The app is made to be lived in for hours at a time, so most of what you see can be adjusted to suit your eyes and the room you are in. This page walks through the settings panel.
Using on Your Phone
The app works as well on a phone as on a laptop, but a small screen calls for a different shape. Instead of panels side by side, each part of the app gets its own screen, and you move between them with a bar at the bottom.
Working Offline
One of the app's quiet strengths is that it keeps working when your internet does not. Once a translation is on your device you can get on a plane, walk into a basement, or lose your signal, and the Bible is still there.
